90 Series
The Series 90 debuted for 1940, replacing the Series 80. The wheelbase it rode on was 124 inches, 4 more over the model it replaced. The 90 was planted on the C-body platform. Powering it was the same 257 CID I8, also making 110hp.
The car also brought forth the genesis of the “Custom Cruiser” name, as it was also known as. This was the only year that ‘Series 90′ was a model name, as the following year, ’98’ was this car’s name.
